Student Code of Conduct
- The full uniform is worn to and from school.
- The school sweater is worn outside the classroom.
- Black dress shoes with non-scuff soles are worn.
Sneakers and platform-shoes are forbidden
- Students do not wear jewelry or make-up.
- Only dark cloth coats, without logos, are worn. No jeans or leather coats.
- Boy's hair is cut in a conservative, and short style. No dyed or layered hair.
- Boys are clean-shaven.
- Girls' dresses are knee-length.
- Students enter and leave school by the front door.
- Desks are kept clean and neat.
- The school is not responsible for what is lost, damaged or left overnight.
- Arrive early for all classes, and be seated and ready when the bell rings.
- When tardy, you must get a late-pass from the office.
- If you are often tardy, you will not be admitted to class once it has started.
- Students only leave class during recess and lunch.
- Students may not enter any classroom other than their own.
- Lunch is eaten in the cafeteria. Students leave their table clean.
- Students do not eat or drink in hallways or classrooms.
- Behaviour is courteous and respectful at all times, both at school and in the neighborhood.
- Students may not receive visitors at school.
- Students are required to maintain a complete and accurate record of homework and assignments in their agendas, which are kept neat and clean.
- Smoking and gum chewing are strictly forbidden at all times, especially when wearing the school uniform.
- Bicycles, motorcycles, skateboards, and skates are not permitted.
- Students never use cell-phones in class.
- Students are responsible for their own possessions, calculators, CD players, and cell phones. They may not bring expensive items to school.
- CD players are forbidden in class.
- Students may not check their E-mail at school.
- Permission and teacher supervision is necessary to use the computers.
For failing to observe school rules, a student becomes subject to the disciplinary action of the
administration. A student may be suspended or dismissed if the offence is repeated.
Notice to Parents:
* Please phone the office by 10 a.m. on days that your child will be late or absent.
* Please provide your child with a note whenever he or she returns to school after a period of absence, or must leave the school before 3 p.m. for any reason.
* Medical and dental appointments should be scheduled after school hours.
* If you wish to consult a teacher or administrator, call the office to schedule an appointment.
* Please read your child's agenda regularly, and sign it every weekend.
